Important Tuition and Registration Information:

  • Space is limited and camps fill up quickly
  • Ask about sibling and multi-week discounts
  • 50% of TOTAL camp tuition will be charged at registration
  • Camp balance will automatically be charge on July 1st.  (you may pay with check or cash prior, if desired)
  • All camp sections are grouped according to date of birth so similar-aged children are together.  If you would like your child placed in a section with specific child, please request at the time of registration.

CAMP YAT
(rising 1st – 6th grade)
Monday – Friday
8:30am – 12:30 pm  $165 per week (ask about discount for multiple weeks)
8:30am – 2:30pm (extended day option)  $240 per week (ask about discount for multiple weeks)

Students have fun with acting, theatre dance, and singing for the stage as they explore a different theme each week.  Each workshop concludes with a performance on the YAT stage!

Weekly themes include:

July 10 – 14 – “Beauty and the Beast”.  From the Broadway show to the animated classic to the recent feature film, students will love exploring favorite characters, songs, and scenes.

July 17 – 21 – “Imagination Animation”.  Let your imagination run wild as characters from Trolls, Shrek and Smurfs come to life at Young Actors.

July 24 – 28 – “Disney Mania”.  Summer adventures continue as we have fun with Disney favorites: Moana, Zootopia, and the Lion King.

CAMP YAT, Junior
(3 year olds – rising Kindergarten)
Monday – Friday
2:00pm – 4:00pm
$80 per week

Theatre for the youngest set!  Explore the excitement and fun of the performing arts through drama, movement and music.  Join us on Friday to see their presentations.

July 10 – 14 – “Pirates and Princesses”.  Pirates and Princesses, as well as Knights and Mermaids, will be featured in stories, songs and plays!

July 17 – 21 – “Disney Days”.  Playtime at YAT is a fun time with Disney friends from favorite Disney Jr shows and movies.

 

School of Rock
(rising 6th – 12th grade)
Monday – Friday
July 24 – 28
2pm – 5pm
$175

Join us for an exciting week as we create a fun show based on the hit Jack Black movie and current Broadway production.  Workshop will include professional instruction in drama, singing, movement, and prop building.  Camp will include with a performance on Friday.

 

Film Production
(rising 6th – 12th grade)
Monday – Friday
July 17 – 21
3pm – 5:30pm
$175

Students will work with YAT faculty from the Film and Television Division to work on acting techniques, film techniques, script writing, and editing by focusing on Disney Villains.

 

Production Workshops (by audition)

“Footloose” Troupers
(rising 6th – 9th grades).
Workshop Rehearsals:  June 12 – 23; M-F 1pm-5pm
Performances:  June 26-28
Placement Audition:  Monday, May 15

For the theatre student who would like to improve performance skills, including acting, vocal and dance technique while working with YAT faculty on an abbreviated version of “Footloose”.  Performance opportunities included.
