Dance Faculty

Vicky Swezey
Jazz , Tap
Mrs. Swezey has an extensive teaching background with an emphasis in jazz and tap.  She has trained extensively with master teachers and choreographers including: Ann Reinking, Tommy Tune and Chita Rivera.  She has been a member of the YAT dance faculty for seventeen years.

Kassie Meiler
Hip Hop, Tap, Ballet
Kassie is from South Florida and has been dancing for over 18 years in many styles including tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, pointe, and hip-hop. She has been teaching dance classes and choreographing musical productions for over 8 years for numerous theatre companies and schools in Florida. She is currently studying at Florida State University and is pursuing a Bachelors of Arts in theatre with a double minor in communication and education. The past three summers, Kassie has interned in New York City as a dance captain and assistant to Broadway artists and choreographers such as Ricky Hinds, Jeff Shade, Susan Blackwell, Tyrick Jones, Heather Parcells, and many more.
