All classes have a $95 registration/supply fee due at the time of registration.

This class introduces students to the excitement and fun of the performing arts through experiences in creative drama, music and movement. Classes emphasize development of drama and performing skills, as well as stretching their imagination and cognitive skill. Students learn to express their emotion through characters from fairy tales to Disney favorites. Each session culminates with a showcase of their experience.
Tuition: $295 per session.
**Each session is 4 1/2 months (Sept – Mid Jan), (Mid Jan – May). Monthly payments available. Additional discount given for full year payment.
Explore drama, music and dance through favorite stories and plays. Students create characters and enhance their verbal and performing skills in a structured, but fun environment. Each session culminates with a showcase of their experience.
Exploration of the performing arts through acting styles, stage skills, scene work, theatre games, music and dance techniques. Sections are grouped according to age. Each session culminates with a show in musical theatre.
One hour drama, one half hour music theatre dance and singing. Tuition – $375 per session.

This is a performance level class where students attend separate drama, music and dance sections to expand their performing techniques. Students work on performance styles, acting techniques, singing, and dance production which further develops self-confidence and poise. In January and May, these students will perform a Broadway Musical Theatre Project on the Mainstage.
Prerequisite: At least one year of YAT classes or the equivalent (contact office to review non-YAT experience and classes)
(1 hour drama, 30 minutes music, 30 minutes dance) The first tuition payment of $399 is due in August. The second tuition payment is due in December.

Crushing the Audition… A musical theatre audition preparation workshop for high school students. An individual or small group workshop that will prepare students to present the very best auditions for productions, projects, and colleges. Audition techniques, material selection and presentations will be the focus of the workshop which will be taught by YAT professional faculty and feature guests who will include noted YAT alumni who are working professionals in the field. Young Actors Theatre Company Classes These classes are for the advanced and experienced young actor, 4th – 12th grades. Students must audition for placement into the Company division of YAT. Auditions are by the permission of the Director of YAT. Mainstage productions at YAT are auditioned and cast from members of the YAT Company.
