Mrs. Swezey has an extensive teaching background with an emphasis in jazz and tap. She has trained extensively with master teachers and choreographers including: Ann Reinking, Tommy Tune and Chita Rivera.
She has been a member of the YAT dance faculty for nineteen years, and is the director of our dance program and serves as the director of our Young Children’s Classes.
Nikki has been dancing for over 15 years in many styles including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre, hip hop, modern, contemporary, pointe, ballroom and acro. She has been teaching dance classes and choreographing musical productions for numerous theatre companies and dance schools.
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, she is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology.
